She is certified to administer Hogan Assessment, Immunity to Change (ITC) Map facilitation, MBTI, DISC, Hofstede Model, COI (Cultural Orientations Indicator),Intercultural Readiness Check (intercultural competence assessment tool), and Dance Therapy Level 2.Sheis the lead author of Cultural Detective: East Asia, a web-based intercultural training tool that defines the similarities and differences of the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cultures. Her guest speaking appearances include the 2008 LG Electronics Global HR Forum on the subject of Global Minds, Global Talent, and the 2006 Swiss Re Reinsurance Asia HR Conference regarding cultural impact on HR practice in global business environment.
Alex holds PhD and MA in Human Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, and, and MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management with the honour of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Sigma Iota. She also has BA and MA in English Literature from Ewha Womans University in Seoul. She is fluent in Korean, English, and comfortable in Japanese.
