Capucine Destailleurs always had an interest in cultural challenges. Born half Swiss half French and partly raised in England, she later acquired a master degree from l’ILERI, a French school specializing in International relations and diplomacy. Intercultural challenges have been a natural part of her life.
Capucine started her professional career in the financial industry where she spent 14 years working as a sales manager, later sales director. She spent most of that time working for Anglo-Saxon companies in London and New York. It was during this time that she developed her management skills and was surrounded by a wide variety of nationalities - such as Australians, Spanish, Germans, Italians…Whether it was from a client perspective or in her collaboration with colleagues and subordinates; having to deal effectively with intercultural differences became a crucial part of her daily job.
With her French cultural background and a high sense of Anglo-Saxon culture, she came back to live in France and joined a U.S. software company to launch their French office as European sales director (Tradingscreen) for clients such as BNP, Société Générale, Dexia, Morgan Stanley…
Her keen interest in interpersonal relations made her move to executive recruitment at Robert Walters and later launching her own Coaching business. Joining itim international was a natural step for Capucine and enabled her to combine her mix of experiences and skills to help sorting out challenges combining culture, management and interpersonal communication.
Currently, Capucine is working as a business coach, facilitator and training consultant in management and team building across Europe. International Herald Tribune and Toshiba are among her clients. Capucine is a member of the International Coaching Federation and speaks fluent French and English.
