Karin Faase, as personality a ‘spiral’ thinker, prefers establishing new activities in relation to previous experiences. She gets motivated by adding value and growth of people as an experienced, efficient, pragmatic manager within a result oriented environment. She is focused on the broad HR field, strong in motivating and mobilising people on different levels based on respect and transparency.
Karin joined itim and The Hofstede Centre in 2012. As a partner she combines her interest in organisational culture together with her experience in change management with her business acumen. Karin has a key role as certification agent of The Hofstede Centre for Organizational Culture and Change.
Next to itim, Karin runs her own consultancy company. She’s specialized in Change Management, Organisational Culture, Compensation & Benefits and Mergers & Acquisitions. Among others, she is currently working on a project regarding age awareness and professionalizing the HR function for one of her clients. Since 2005 she was working for numerous clients in the public and private sector, often as interim manager, and frequently applying The Hofstede Model on Organisational Culture in the consulting process. Before 2005 Karin Faase was Head of Human Resources at Epson Europe, based at the head office and collaborating with expats from 26 nationalities.
