Mari Fujii

Before starting her company i4talent Corporation in training/coaching/consulting in December 2014, Mari worked in Human Resources for Japanese operations of different multicultural companies, hiring, training, coaching, facilitating and developing talent and leaders of high calibre and different national cultures for 20 years. Her experience include Learning & Development Director at Bayer Yakuhin, a Japanese subsidiary of German conglomerate Bayer's pharmaceutical and healthcare division, as well as Recruiting & Learning Director at QVC Japan, a Japanese subsidiary of American TV-shopping/multi-platform retailer.

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Mari obtained a B.A. degree in the Spanish Language and Hispanic Studies from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School, New York, NY, USA. She also taught Human Resources and Organizational Behavior for 12 years at Globis Business School, Osaka, Japan.

She speaks Japanese and English, and is comfortable with Spanish. She dances Argentine Tango, listens to Italian opera and loves rakugo,  a Japanese stand-up comedy but sit-down style with 200 year tradition passed from mouth to mouth.
